Description

Voglibose Dispersable Tablets

Voglibose is an anti-diabetic drug belonging to the class of alpha-glucosidase inhibitors used in the treatment of type-2 diabetes mellitus. Voglibose is prescribed when type 2 diabetes cannot be managed by diet and exercise only. Type-2 diabetes mellitus is also referred to as non-insulin-dependent diabetes. Diabetes is a disease where blood glucose levels are elevated above normal levels.

Voglibose has ‘Voglibose’ that acts by inhibiting intestinal enzymes that help decompose complex sugars into simple ones such as glucose. In this way, it prevents blood glucose levels from increasing promptly after eating. You should take Voglibose for as long as your physician has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In a few instances, Voglibose can result in common side-effects like abdominal pain, diarrhoea, flatulence (gas), skin reactions, heartburn, nausea, and vomiting.
