Amoxycillin & Potassium Clavulanate Injection

Amoxicillin and Potassium Clavulanate Injection is a combination of two antibiotic medicines amoxicillin and potassium clavulanate. Both prescription medicines treat many bacterial infections, amoxicillin stops the growth of bacteria, and potassium clavulanate prevents bacteria to become resistant to amoxicillin because it is a beta-lactamase inhibitor.

It is generally used to treat many infections caused by bacteria such as-

• Urinary tract infections
• Skin infections

• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Diarrhea

What are the precautions you should keep in mind before using Amoxicillin and Potassium Clavulanate Injection?

• After having a high-fat meal you should avoid amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium injection. 
• Avoid using it with antibiotic medicines, it might cause watery or bloody diarrhea.
• Tell your doctor if you experience any symptoms becoming worse.
